Belgium Day 4: Museum de Reede, Antwerp
More graphic in large
Back blip
An arty day! Imogen visited three galleries, and I had a rather more sedentary day (nursing weary feet and legs)... We both went to Museum de Reede to see Goya, Munch, and Dürer artworks, and Imogen also took in M HKA (the contemporary art gallery), and Museum Mayer van den Bergh (a family art collection from 16th Century onwards). I spent more time in cafes, and read Ursula Le Guin.
My only unpleasant and (frankly) shocking realisation of the day was that Belgium seems to run almost entirely on UHT milk, which I think is pretty gross, and spoiled more than one cup of coffee (more fool me).
Day 4's angles are here (or right from Riverbank view)
