Another perfect day to finish off at the Dig.  

Travel to and from the site has involved an hour's journey from home - and every day, the fine weather has highlighted the spectacular Galloway scenery to full effect (see extra).  I stopped today on the way home, to take a few pictures - and saw my first lambs of the season.  They were looking good and obviously enjoying the sunshine too.

And it appears that this good weather is to continue a bit longer ...............
