A great day

It’s the quilting weekend, so up and out with enthusiasm. There was a good crowd and I shared a group of tables with ladies who I’ve not met before, so we had plenty of chat. They were doing a new technique, whereas I plodded on with my quilt. Made great progress!!!!

We were not short of coffee and cake which was delicious. I began to run short of steam by 2pm and rang B to ask him to collect me at three when I’d got to the next stage of sewing.

There was lots of material and accessories available to buy, but I resisted temptation as there’s more than enough in the cupboards at home. This is a fun material that I found amongst the bundles.

Home for a sound sleep for an hour, which recharged the battery.
