15 Years!

What better way to celebrate my 15th anniversary of blipping than in Largs with Mum and Dd! Both have been fellow travellers on this journey, the latter obviously very present as my wife and a blipper herself, and the former popping up a lot over the years in my blips as the first link below to twelve pages of blips shows!

We paid a flying visit to Mum in her new (care) home and she thoroughly enjoyed her jaunt along the front for an ice cream, just missing a flake to represent her 99 years on this planet!

The second link shows the genesis of it all with the same two actors present on my 50th birthday, also in Largs, when Dd presented me with a Nikon D3x camera. Synchronistically, my dear friend Oceanallover, a few days later, suggested this site to give the camera a proper run out! And quite some run it has turned out to be!

It’s easy to become blasé about what this place represents and all our individual achievements to keep our journals going, sometimes with slings and arrows flying all around. We prompt each other to and sustain each other in a creative achievement in images and words resulting in a collective body of work that represents a unique insight into lives around the global block! I’m very proud to be a member.
