More heavy rain

It's been a terribly wet afternoon, with very heavy rain, and thunder and lightning. Whenever the weather turns to custard in spring, you can guarantee that there will be a population explosion over night. And this is exactly what happened last night. Seven more cows calved, our busiest day yet. Today we took the calves off their mums, and put them in the shed, so late this afternoon we had to go and feed the calves, or should I say, teach the calves to drink. It's a back breaking job, and not fun, especially when the calves come up behind you and butt you in the bottom. The cheeky things.

This is one of our lemons on the tree. I loved the droplets on the fruit, getting ready to drop to the ground.
