Looking across the farm

It was a bit of a wild night last night. Rain, wind and fresh snow on the hills up the valley.

Although this snow doesn't look that thick, it is certainly showing us how it is contributing to the cold temperatures we are having tonight. It's 6.45pm as I write this, and it's 1.9 degrees C. The lemon trees are covered in anticipation of a severe frost tonight.

I hope the Blippers in the southern parts of NZ don't have too much snow on the ground, and they are managing to keep warm.
