Last full day
I woke a couple of times in the night, once to see that even at 3.15 a.m. the rugby match had not yet started. And then after all of that I didn't wake up properly till after 8. Sorted my VPN, was my fault. I'd changed a setting to do the IKEA order and forgotten to change back. Some more checking of suitcases and breakfast and then over to HK.
I arrived just as WH and the girls were leaving for Amelia's extra gymnastics class so I went too. The class is in Solaris and we sat in Coffee bean and Tea Leaf: Olivia on her i-pad with her game and WH working. Not much conversation there. After she dropped us off at HK and went back to the office.
Eventually, I dragged the girls to the pool, which got quite busy. It wasn't sunny but it wasn't cold. #1 son joined us but not WH. The pool session was once again interrupted by a huge storm, very large raindrops and we had to dash upstairs. After it eased I came back to GK to drop off my stuff, get changed and go back to HK ready to go back to Solaris.
Dinner tonight was at our favourite Korean BBQ, Sae Ma Eul. #2 son joined us, but not S. She's fasting and was meeting friends for iftar. We didn't have as much to eat as last time but it was a sufficiency. #2 son told us about the St Paddy's Ball and the after party in Bangsar. He got home at 9.30 a.m. We'd eaten early as it's school tomorrow so it was just getting dark as we left. We all went home for ice cream but in different places.
The restaurant looks empty but it was busy. I've removed the background people in the main blip but the extra has me and the other diners.
I've been offered a lift to the airport tomorrow as Tuesday is another PH in parts of Malaysia - Nuzul Al-Quaran, Reading the Koran Day. The offer of a lift came as a surprise and I think my response underwhelmed them but actually it will be good.
PS - a second extra of a last view of the skyline, with the, just past full, moon.
