Howay the lads
We got the bathroom cleared ready for demolition tomorrow.
I’d contacted Toby to help with the garden. I had finally persuaded Mr C we needed help as I can no longer manage to dig up all the grass that’s come up in a neglected rose bed and Mr C always finds more interesting things to do. When Toby called to discuss what needed doing Mr C said he’d prefer him to start graping over his veg raised beds first. I consider that to be very cheeky.
I drove over to Carol’s as she’d advertised a bread maker on our village free site. Mr C wonders where we can put it. I got it anyway.
The football was fantastic. What a result. Newcastle won the Caraboa Cup. It’s been a long wait. Amazing atmosphere. We always support the club local to where we live. It was Patrick Thistle then Newcastle then Ipswich Town and now Newcastle. Thomas and James had to go to a friend’s house to watch as their dad doesn’t like football. Nathaniel got back from Scout camp half an hour before the end. He’s ecstatic. Oddly I’d recorded Get Carter for Mr C so we’ll watch that. It’s so dated and sexist.
I made us a delicious dinner from “Dinner” a satay aubergine thing which was much appreciated.
