Korean Dance
I don’t feel I’ve accomplished much today. We spent a while over breakfast reading the Guardian. We treat ourselves to a hard copy on Saturdays.
We both had X-rays at Alnwick, Mr C for his chest and me for knees. The radiographer said she was forbidden to tell me what she saw so I must be patient till I see the physio, unless my GP also gets a report which will appear on my NHS on-line records so I could check them. I didn’t have high enough IOS on my iPad to download the exercises the Physio sent. I couldn’t ask for a hard copy - the only help link is for IT. Interestingly the link she sent asked which country I lived in. I hope it’s not exercises approved by the US Secretary for Health. I’ll carry on with WalkingMarj’s YouTube link.
We picked up the bathroom tiles at Kingston Park then parked up and got the metro to town. It’s full of black and white in support of Newcastle V Liverpool in the cup tomorrow.
We had a quick tapas at Kaltur then headed to the Botanist but it was too noisy for Mr C so instead we had a drink in the theatre before the performance “Dragons” by Eun-me Ahn Dance Company. She is one of the most important artists in South Korea. The modern dance was graceful and acrobatic but I found the techno-type music repetitive. The dancers appeared often with their holograms. The lighting and special effects could be said to be gimmicky but they did add something. It was certainly different. If anyone else has seen it I’d be interested to hear your opinion.
When we got off the metro I heard a shout “Mum!” It was #3 daughter and Luke. They’d been to the cinema as it’s his weekend off and the children are at a Scout adventure at Ford Castle.
