GEM

My friend K had a credit to spend for an airB&B which was for 2 people and the 3rd person went free. She picked a nice one in West Looe, Cornwall and asked if I would like to be that 3rd person. Ordinarily I would have jumped at it, but the way I am still feeling at the moment, I sadly declined. K, M & J are there now and having a jolly good time. K sent me some photos today and this is the one I like best: Gem sitting on a carpet of pink petals. They have all enjoyed a lovely day exploring the local area.

Meanwhile, Mr HB and I have spent a lovely day with our dear friend H and other friends F&M. H cooked a magnificent lunch and the afternoon was full of diverse conversations and many wonderful shared memories. We got home at 7pm.

An early night beckons, I was up at 3am, having had another of those bad nights.
