Walking and Talking
It’s been a beautiful sunny day with a cold northerly wind.
I met with an ex-work colleague this morning. She has a dog and so I took Merlin along and we had three hours walking and talking in the fresh sunny air. Good therapy for sure. I also discovered some new areas where I can walk Merlin. I’ll go back and explore them another day.
This afternoon I sowed some seeds including baby leaf salad, rocket and beetroot. It felt cold to be sowing seeds and some of the packets were blown about in the gusts of wind. Hopefully the temperatures will improve and I’ll get more seeds sown in this coming week.
My blip shows part of our village church in the afternoon sunshine. I was particularly drawn to the patterns and colour of the stonework including the gargoyle. It is thought there was a church on this site recorded in the Domesday Book - more here and a picture of the tower in Extras.
Wishing you a restful evening and a good start to your week.
