Moss on a churchyard wall

Seemed to do a lot of mundane stuff this morning. One win was taxing the Skoda early. The vehicle excise duty for that car increases from £35 to £195 on 1st April. My tax is due 1st May. Following Martin Lewis’s advice to go on line I was able to renew my tax two months early, sacrificing 2 months of tax but getting the next 12 months for £35 instead of £195.

We can’t do it with the EV as it’s a leased vehicle, so we’re not the owners. That’s increasing from £0 to £195.

Walked this afternoon via the pharmacy, the allotment and the church to see if Doreen’s inscription was in the Book of Remembrance. It hadn’t been done yet. However, she was named in a list of people to be remembered in prayers in March which was lovely to read.
