grasshopper

We had a discussion this week about the difference between grasshoppers and crickets because there is a lot of bouncing and chirruping going on in my neighbours front garden.

Today I managed to get a photo and have checked online... apparently grasshopper are diurnal as opposed to nocturnal and rub with their back legs....

So they are definitely grasshoppers.
