Mono Monday: Organic

After a cloudy start, it developed into a beautiful sunny day, though cooler than we had last week. R was out at his monthly retirees lunch, with a guest speaker, so I thought that would be a good opportunity to have a long chat with my friend Ellen, who I hadn’t spoke to in quite a while. We had a good catch up about our respective families, our trip to England, and other things. When R got back, we both went to the fitness center for a swim. Last week, for whatever reason, I had really struggled to manage 34:lengths, but today I was back to my usual 50. When we got back we took our tea outside on the patio, and I stayed out for a while, doing some knitting, and enjoying listening to the bird song and watching them at the feeders. A good day.
