St. Patrick’s Day Parade

We had breakfast at the Grand Central Station again and then we walked to the corner of the Fifth Avenue and the W 45th Street to see the St. Patrick’s Day parade. It was the 264th celebration year, and there were estimated 2 million spectators and 150,000 marchers.

Some marcher groups waited their turn on the 45th Street, including these FDNY firefighters. It was the most interesting event! I’m so happy I saw it!

Then we went to see the Times Square. Amount of those large billboards is astonishing.

The last spot today was the impressive New York Public Library.
