Bullet Bitten
A nice slow start for this Monday morning, it has rained overnight which is the best time for it to rain in my opinion!
Last night I finally hit the bullet and contacted someone re doing some work in the garden. Last year I just didn't get going for one reason or another, it didn't get it's Autumn clear up and now it's hanging over me like the fabled sword. (I hope that's not too many metaphors for an opening paragraph.) I'm hoping that the company we've chosen, who dealt with everything via WhatsApp, are going to work out well. I first checked them out online when I was in India and restored then to get in touch. They seem very organised, we have dates right through to November, but I do miss having spoken to someone face to face. They have good reviews and local people use them so hopefully all will be well. I'm hoping that now that is in place I will feel more inclined to get started myself. Their first visit is in a fortnight.
My next main task today was pleasure, my monthly visit to Clarin's for a massage. I warned Fiona, the therapist that I needed to be awake this evening for bridge so not to relax me too much. I came home on a, not very nice smelling, busy bus, aware that the area around me at least smelt fresh due to those lovely fresh plant oils!
We had a quick ready made dinner of Paella and headed out to pick up our elderly friends to take them to bridge. The cards did not go our way tonight, enough said. It's good to be back in our usual routine.
My blip is one corner of our untended garden.
