Diggin' it....

.......a day amongst the filth in the spring sunshine. Feels like I've broken the back of this earth moving project (just before it breaks my back) to prepare a flat surface for the poly tunnel. Remind me not to buy a house on a hill next time. Also a family of Yellow Hammers have moved in to the back garden. Think Spugs wearing day-glow yellow jackets.  

Took myself off for a pootle roond the village on my bike over lunch. It's exactly 4km in new money, so 5 circuits earns me a tidy 20km exercise session. I do get some looks from dog walkers who might witness me trundling past twice or thrice.  Even managed to avoid the dreaded hawthorns.
