Wood Anemone

Anemonoides nemorosa

What a beautiful day. After my Tuesday zoom chat and walk I sat in my neighbour's garden for about an hour drinking coffee and chatting. We had our jackets on but it was really warm. Delightful.

After lunch I constructed my Heath Robinson-y greenhouse by filling the seed trays with compost and covering them in the potting shed. In a couple of weeks the compost should be warm enough for some seed planting. The garden is really springing to life, the bees were buzzing and things suddenly seem quite different.

The wood anemones are out in the woodland by the river. Like snowdrops I find them hard to photograph but I quite like this one.

Tonight we're going to some live music which will be  energetic and enjoyable.
