First hill
Early start and picked up pal for a day in the west on wee hills.
Cracking weather all the way west.
First hill a steep straight up the front west ridge. We spotted an eagle on hill north. A steady progress to a cracking summit with views all around to higher hills. Dropped down and headed south on a track that detearated to a boggy at track. Then a gentle ascent up granite slabs and through glacier boulders. A summit view of beauty looking down tge long finger of Loch etive. Quiet and peaceful we sat for a while soaking it all in.
Back to the car with the excitement of a golden plover, still quite lifeless on hills while the temperature is low.
Brilliant longish day and my legs know about it, 22km, 1100m ascent.
Tea and cake on way home listening to radio 6
Dog walk with eco mum, will the legs work.
