Seeds

It was frosty early morning and our neighbour was de-icing her car windscreen when I got up.
Planted some seeds this morning and I may plant some more before the end of this month - or there again, I might not.
Pottering about the garden today. It was a sunny day but with a cold, stiff wind.
The more I see about politics in this country, the more I realise that democracy does not exist here.
Lovely to see the sun today despite the cold wind.
Spoke to my daughter on the phone.
Wondering how my friend Linda is as she fell down a couple of steps at her back door recently and although she told me she was OK, she mentioned that her wrist was swollen and she could not walk due to a pian in her groin. I urged her to get checked over as I thought the groin pain could be referred pain from a hip problem (I didn't want to worry her unduly so never mentioned a possible fracture but would have if she had not got checked out). Anyway, it transpires that her hip is indeed fractured and she was due to have it pinned today. She was messaging me from the hospital yesterday but I didn't expect to hear anything from her today. Hope to hear from her soon. I've known her since 1963.
