Violet

A day of admin and catching up from being away from home, last week.
I inspected the garden, and feel sure I've lost some spring flowering plants such as Anemone blanda and Iris reticulata to last year's hordes of slugs. However, this little  violet has survived to flower again, and I also discovered a clump of frogspawn in the pond, so all is not lost!
