Spring blossom

A beautiful, sunny day, although cold and frosty, first thing.
We went for a walk to our local wildlife area and on to the butterfly reserve on Yew Hill, where some  very friendly sheep were grazing the vegetation.
The blip is of the blossom, plus bee, on one of the Mirabelle plum trees in our wildlife area. 
This afternoon I visited  my Mother taking with me some very old photos I had found ( from 1950-1 when she was at teacher training college in Chichester and on a trip to France), her 21st birthday cards, and also  photos of her mother's 90th birthday party in 1989. She was very interested to see them again, but doesn't get emotional about the past.
