When puppy dog eyes don't work

Poor Lottie, she still has not realised that those melting brown eyes of hers don't have quite the same effect on Rodney as they do on us.   Fat chance of him budging from Lottie's spot.

A day of minor mishaps for me so far;

1. When I turned the shower on this morning the shower head shot off the hose at high speed  and smashed to bits in the shower tray.

2.  I have gone almost totally deaf in my left ear - a trip to the quack in order.  

3.  On my work travels earlier today, I zipped in to a shop to buy a sandwich and a few bits and bobs and have just discovered that I left one item on the counter.  Paid for as well, which makes it doubly annoying.

After work I am off up to London to meet my friends, Jane and Mary, for a bite to eat and a much needed glass or 2 of something.      I hope to get through the evening without further incident......
