Preparations

I had to drag the photo scanner out of a cupboard and remember how to install the drivers and software this evening, so I could scan the pictured photos for the upcoming celebration of life.

Other than that it was continuing with the preparations to lay new decking. I have a greater appreciation of the term 'back-breaking work' as I was permanently bending and twisting while fitting additional rafters to support the new boards. By the end of the day I was struggling to move at all.  Having a cold doesn't exactly help, either. 

Still by the end of the day I loose laid some of the new decking boards and they look significantly better than the wooden planks I'd removed on Monday.
