Blown up 50mm

I friend borrowed me his 50mm 1.4 Canon lens for a try-out, when he heard I was comparing 50mm lens data considering to buy one.
What you see is 10x15 cm cropped out from A3 size.
I'm impressed. Now I want to see how the 50mm 1.8 Canon will do (when I find someone to lend it to me :-)
