Stanley (Wednesday 19th March 2025)

For the last comple of months, unnoticed by me, the pigeons in the plum tree have been using Archie for target practice. The resultant mess has proved impossible to clear off, so I drove to a hand-wash place in Chippenham specifically to get it cleaned up. Unfortunately the roof-light mechanism seized up and wouldn't close, so I came away with the car in the same state. It's working now.

These wild primroses were taken in Stanley from the Calne-Chippenham cycle path that used to be a branch railway line. I assume they are wild but they could have been planted. There were lots of them.
