RSPB Arne (Monday 17th March 2025)

I met up with the Spotlight Kid on this day at RSPB Arne and after a cappuccino we set off on the Shipstal Trail to do some birdwatching. We saw black-tailed godwits, teal, Brent and Canada geese, oystercatchers, shelducks, little egrets, a spoonbill flypast, a curlew and even sika deer, but not the local white-tailed eagle that we learned afterwards had flown along the coast of Shipstal Beach on Poole Harbour while we were there.

I called at C's on both outward and return journeys but took no pictures of Loki, but I did pause briefly at Wareham's quay and took a few shots (one in Extras). It was a round trip of 150 miles, so I used Archie as it was beyond Buzz's range.
