Dudes 'n' Daffs

Today I managed to get some forms completed and sent off. Another thing I wanted to do was set up an NHS account for easier ordering of  prescriptions, etc. I need a code and some other details from my GP surgery to complete it so I called them and  the receptionist said she'd get a member of the admin team to call back.

This meant waiting around rather than go out to look for my Blip. I waited... and waited... In the end I decided to take my phone, pen and piece of paper out with me and we went out for a late afternoon walk. *

The initial plan was a wander around the Arboretum, but we noticed that the sky looked quite pretty , and we would be better able to capture it from higher up. As we walked along the avenue at the top I saw these two lads go and sit among the daffs and thought that if I had the nerve, they'd make a good Blip! I would not have had the nerve had they not called out to us and asked us to take their photo - and here it is!

We also saw a tree-creeper. I had seen it on a previous occasion, but when I told Brian, he was sceptical. I'm glad he was with me when I saw it today. I took some photos, but they aren't very good. I've put one in the extras as a record shot. 

We ended up walking out of the park to uphill Lincoln to get a better view of the sky. I got a decent one, but I'm going with this as it is a one-off that I'm unlikely to have chance to get another day!
