Getting extra steps in - maybe.

I changed over to my current role in my current main workplace 16 months ago to a building with a lift in it. It doesn't get a huge amount of use, but I definitely make the most of it - my knees appreciate not having to do the stairs too often..

However, it failed its recent annual service and we are awaiting spare parts. 

Everyone is being thoroughly entertained that I've decided I'd rather walk the extra steps to the next building to collect general printing and photocopying, and am  saving walking upstairs to confer with the person who does my role in the upstairs room, for the specialist paper printing (easier to do on our building's smaller printer) and for the essential coffee refills.
