Orderly
I can't control the chaos in the world but I can control the guddle in the spare bedroom. When my children outgrew their Lego, Playmobil, games and books I kept most of them. Now that my grandchildren are starting to outgrow some of these items I'm slowly giving them away. There's still a lot of stuff though and yesterday we gave the room a bit of a turnout and refresh. The rattan baskets come from the big blue and yellow store. They are delivered a couple of times a week to a local supermarket so you don't have to go to the shop and wend your way past all the things you don't need. The baskets still contain things like the Brio Railtrack, Lego of various kinds, Playmobil, Fisher Price and dressing up. But neatly.
And just to be clear these aren't all full of the children's stuff. There are OS maps, masses of photography and other delights.
All the oddments I decluttered were gone in a couple of hours thanks to the neighbourhood WhatsApp.
Spring Equinox here in the north. It's going to be a day worthy of the return of the light. The temperature is climbing. I'm off to yoga for the first time in a fortnight. It'll be a stretch.
