Rainbow Trip

It's been another manic day, with a few hours spent at my neighbours sorting out some lighting matters as they move next Wednesday.

Mid afternoon I stopped in Monmouth (South Wales, UK) to get an estimate for my car before collecting granddaughter Amelia from 'After School Club' and taking her to Rainbows at 5.30pm for the hour.

Her mum has been in hospital since early this morning for a three hour ear operation and her dad had to be on hand to collect her whenever she was released hence my involvement.  During the hour wait I took the photo' of the Folly Tower, Pontypool from neaby Mamhilad as the sun went down behind.

Shortly afterwards, I collected Amelia and we stopped off at McDonalds for her Happy Meal, dropping her home after 7pm: Her mum hadn't long been home and tired after the day. All went well and she's signed off for three weeks!
