Atypical

The warmest day yet, this year, up to about 18C this afternoon.
Peter (Stormin Norman) tortoise re-emerged- the first time since he rashly woke up on 8th March, (and wished he hadn't). He spent a leisurely few hours following the sun, after taking a warm bath.
Meanwhile, Martin and I spent a busy day in the garden pruning and weeding.
I remembered rather late I had taken no photos, so this picture of an  atypical primrose plant was snapped when the sun was going down. (The flowers are a richer yellow colour and the flower stalks are longer than is usual.)  Our lawn has lots of different varieties of primroses within it. Later there will be a variety of cowslip plants, too.
