The Tardis

Spent the day in Edinburgh at the suggestion of Cathaber and Olib to see a play on the Fringe. See Paulaj for detail.

Went for lunch at Cafe Marlayne at the top of Leith Walk. It's unprepossessing exterior hides a cavernous interior. The food is excellent. Altogether a really good day ending in going to Valvona and Crolla our favourite deli for cheese and a brief trip to Portobello to see the sea. People were swimming in the aforesaid sea. I'm not sure why this should surprise me as others would be doing the same all along the east coast. To swim in the North Sea/Firth of Forth is only for the really hardy.
