Into the blue ….

Today we treat ourselves to a light lunch at the Quay hotel in Deganwy.  It’s where I went for my spa treat earlier in the week and I was reminded of just how nice it is to sit outside on the terrace. 

The March sunshine is deliciously warm - though there’s still a chill to the gentle breeze coming in from the sea. The views here are stunning. Directly across the river you look over to the Carneddau; to your left there’s Conwy and its castle, hazy today from the fire that seems to be burning on the shore; and to the right there’s the mouth of the estuary, the blue water glassy today with two yachts moored in tandem looking out to sea.
