A new plant potted up today.

A tedious visit to the eye department at Kingston Hospital…the technicians were very quick to do three tests but then a long wait for the consultant. Worth the wait as she was very good… new there and interestingly as from Slovenia. Have been prescribed some new eye drops.

Next back on the train to Teddington and popped into the library where there was a patchwork session going on…lots of ladies making patchwork square about a foot square which will then be made into quilts for Project Linus. I may go next time if the date is convenient.

Back home I repotted a couple of house plants and this is a new succulent for the pot my granddaughter decorated with a hand print at our local pottery studio about three or four years ago. It is on the kitchen windowsill.

This evening I am going to the AGM of the Friends of Bushy Park where the guest speaker is Mathew Pottage who was previously the curator at RHS Wisley and is now Head of Horticulture for the Royal Parks.
