Kafka In His 100th Anniversary Year!

The brother of a good friend of mine in Ireland has received many praises for his translation of selected Kafka short stories. I ordered this handsome volume through Amazon US ($36, the Kindle version was only a couple of dollars cheaper!) and it arrived without me having to pay doorstep custom charges like I do when things arrive from the UK!

I haven’t really read Kafka before but understand it’s not something to put a spring in your step for the day ahead!
