gardening
An ironic title, since I haven't done any gardening at all today.
I did visit the garden centre, and bought some peat free compost and a shedload (ahem) of seeds.
And I did go to a talk about gardening. Colin Crosbie, who is originally from Kirkcudbright, and has worked as curator at RHS Wisley, kindly came to Loch Arthur to talk about his life, his garden and his travels. The money raised from ticket sales is to go towards a greenhouse for the Community. Friends of Loch Arthur had all been busy baking for the afternoon tea, and then we were busy washing up and clearing away. A very satisfying day.
Thank you all so much for the stars and hearts for yesterday's anniversary blip. Muchly appreciated :-)
