Resting

Merry has been outside a lot today..,three times round the garden with D throwing tennis balls for her, an afternoon of gardening with me, and a four mile walk (run) up in the forest. So she should sleep well tonight.

We had a little rain overnight, which released some lovely scents in the forest. I noticed that the blackthorn blossom was out (and the apricot blossom at home as well. In town, the horse chestnut buds are starting to open, but ours are a little way behind.

I am out tonight at The Theatre Royal in Dumfries to see “The Kelton Hill Fair”.
