Result!

I went over to the Wren showroom today to design the fitted wardrobe unit for the main bedroom. I was surprised at how much hanging and storage space we could achieve. After some discussion, I’ve decided that it’s best for the finished result to redecorate and re-carpet the room first and have the wardrobes installed last. They’ve emailed me a 3D tour of how the unit will look in the room, but unfortunately the button to start the video doesn’t work so I’ll have to get them to re-send it. I might do a bit of a tweak, but overall it’s how I want it.

The customer service lady from Homeserve/Vaillant called in the afternoon with the results of their investigation into how they handled my boiler breakdown, leaving me without heating and hot water for two weeks and ultimately having to get a new boiler installed by a different company because the part needed to fix it was now obsolete. I’m pleased to say that my complaint was upheld, and I will be receiving a decent amount of compensation as well as having been refunded the full premium which I had just paid to renew the policy for another year (I cancelled it within the ‘cooling off’ period). Result!

I thought I’d get my money’s worth out of the tulips and blip a black & white study of one of the flowers.
