Arley Green

My second photograph of this view. I am going to try and capture the view each month. Since February 17th when this last featured the weeping willow to the right has greened, and camellias are flowering in font of one of the houses. To my left, out of view, a cornelian cherry is also flowering (extra),
Walking here along Back Lane I was puzzled by the loud bird chatter I could hear ahead. They flew up and moved to a distant tree as I approached - annoyingly I had not bought my binoculars. I am sure however they were redwings, a flock of 100+ birds, all “singing” a sub-song. They must be preparing to move east and across the North Sea to Scandinavia, there was a definite sense of anticipation in the air.
