Signs of spring!!

I believe these are crocuses and I'm so excited to see them coming up in my garden, even if they are surrounded by those roses! There are also lots of tulips and I've spied one hollyhock, also wedged in with the roses.
After the excitement of getting Frodo to the vet yesterday, I've had a quiet day. I have a little bit of a cough and sore throat so I'm trying to nip it in the bud before school starts again next Monday. So I forwent going out for a drink with friends this afternoon and am just hanging out reading. That's not too bad.
