We had lovely breakfast in the French styled bakery.cafeteria called Marvelous by Fred. Then we headed to the legendary Empire State Building Observatory, the magnificent Art Deco skyscraper! It was incredible experience. 86th floor open-air observatory with 360° views was great, but it was super windy up there.

Intended to be the world's first 100+ story building, construction of the Empire State Building began on March 17, 1930. In a record-breaking 1 year and 45 days, construction on the building is completed. The 102-story building is the talk of the town and, on May 1, President Hoover presses a button in Washington, D.C., officially opening the building and turning on the Empire State Building’s lights for the very first time.

Next we took a bus to Downtown and checked attractions at Wall Street area. New York styled pizza slices for lunch and subway ride to the hotel. Recovering the rest of the day.
