Robber fly

There's lots of life in the garden when I let myself sit, be and see.  Unfortunately the harsh afternoon sun meant that it was hard to capture shadowless bugs - hey ho......maybe tomorrow.  

I've begun to feel the need for some time away....maybe in April.  Golden Bay?  Kaikoura?  Nelson Lakes?   Easter would be the obvious time to aim for but that might mean crowds.....and I'd like quiet.  I'll see what (if anything) develops over the next wee while.

Did some more wood-stacking today and whilst I made a dent on it, it still feels like I have a small mountain to move.  I'll be at it again tomorrow....chipping away one barrowload at a time.
