Gently down the stream

First bluebells

..Spanish, I'm afraid, not English, but still a very welcome sight flowering in a sunny sheltered spot under a hedge.  So this was on my rather short walk this morning and, as you can see, also spotted were a firecrest, celandines growing in the crook of a tree trunk and a section of the tree scattered reedbed opposite.

(I thought the bird was a goldcrest, but the very knowledgeable Diane2104 confimed that's it's actually a firecrest - even more exciting!)

What else can I tell you about today?  Not a lot.  Some more sorting of junk, futon photographed for collection, tidying, reading and messaging friends and that's about it.

Enjoy your Saturday evening  xx
