Thank you for all the lovely and thoughtful comments recently, much appreciated. 

Represented Mountain Training England in a truly tedious meeting this morning, I'm not a fan of meetings for the sake of them, and with no outcomes agreed it simply felt like a lost few hours. 

Had intended to have a reset in the gym, but traffic chaos at the Penrith interchange saw a change of plan and I headed to Ullswater to film a couple of short video clips that will hopefully form a part of a small project. 

In other news, a small bit of unrestricted funding has been confirmed (which means we can use it as we see fit) , it will let us develop something we trialled last year. It will also, relatively quickly, add a dozen or so experienced walk leaders to the team. Great for growth and participant support, but an increase to the admin and management burden which is ridiculously difficult to get funding for but is what actually keeps the Charity going.
