The only way is up

A view of the village from the lowest point in it - there is a stream hidden below the foreground foliage. The stream flooded in the winter and affected some of these houses. Three roads rise from this point, all called something 'Hill'.

This was the conclusion of a family walk. I was with my co-grandfather, who takes lovely pictures of wildlife and our grandson and gives us prints. He was also taken by the scene and made a picture. He said he wished the tin roof wasn't there, but we needed to include it for compositional reasons. Treshnish and other blippers have taught me to love corrugated tin, especially rusting. Plastic bins, not so much
