World Cat Day + Badgers

What a cracking night. Up to Corstorphine Hill on an official Badger Watch, and within 5 minutes of settling down silently into our spot there were two young badgers (cubs about 6 months old) rooting about, later joined by a big adult. They were there for 35-40 minutes, as backsides got numb but enjoyment reigned supreme.

The reason there are no photos is that, despite the great light, I didn't want to spook them with the shutter noise, and in so doing ruin the experience for the other 6 people watching with us.

So instead there's a wee celebration of World Cat Day with Isla (still can't believe the BlipBlog thing about World Cat Day doesn't have one of Trev's shots of Casper and Kelpie...).

And tomorrow is Friday. This is good.
