What would he think?
In the centre of the city that is now named after him, a statue of Ho Chi Minh has been erected in front of the French colonial building that now houses the City Administration. I wonder what he would have thought, had he known he would be surrounded by so many symbols of capitalism.
In the extra are photos taken today in the butterfly house in the Saigon Botanical Garden - sorry Uncle Ho, but most people seem to find the old name for the city to be more convenient than the official new one.
