Merlin

It’s been a mainly overcast day with light rain. We continued working at the allotment this morning, finishing the reconstruction of the shelter, then repositioning it to a less exposed place. This involved moving a large compost bin and water butt, amongst other things, so it took time. This afternoon I was in the kitchen preparing food for my lunches this week so it’s quick and easy to make lunch each day.

Here’s Merlin in the field on his afternoon walk. Just after taking the photo he met a couple of Border Terriers with whom he enjoyed a very long and exhausting game of chase. He’s now asleep under his blanket.
