Crossing the Bridge

I was up very early this morning as Mr P set off to walk part of the Southern Upland Way with friends (he’s coming back late tomorrow). Carole and I were on teas and coffee duty and I was also reading, so it was a rather busy morning. After lunch I went on the loop walk to Lyne station (about 8 miles) with Carole, Helen and Kate. It was rather tiring, so I wouldn’t have wanted to do 18 miles like Mr P! We all came back to ours for tea and cake after the walk.
I had a hot bath and caught up with TV this evening and finished watching The Leopard on Netflix. One of my favourite books from uni days.
